To be part of the £45 million pound refit was always going to be exciting . The iconic Grade II listed building on Colmore Row re opened in November 2020 with 185 rooms of pure luxury following 20 years of dormancy. Our full engagement was to add our stone to all of the bathrooms, reception desks , bars , cloaks, breakfast counters, waiter stations and washrooms on all main floors. We used both natural stones and quartz for the project.
Rosso Verona, Carrara, Nero Marquina and Zimbabwe Black were amongst the marbles and granites sourced from Italy. Caesarstone quartz was specified for the main bar top, including a hand finished chunky 80mm full bullnosed edge profile.
